About

For as long as I can remember, my body has felt like a mystery I couldn’t solve. A fall from a bunk bed early in life may have marked the beginning, but for decades, I was left without a map, navigating a world that felt overwhelming, confusing, and out of sync with my inner state.

Most of my life has been shaped by the freeze response, an often-misunderstood state of nervous system dysregulation. While others seemed to move through life with relative ease, I lived in a kind of suspended animation: present, but disconnected; surviving, but not truly living. This long freeze left me feeling lost, unsure of who I really was beneath the protective layers my body had built to feel safe.

In 2020, I could no longer hide as symptoms were too overwhelming. My body was communicating to me that things needed to change and things needed to process. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in a variety of healing practices, many of which I share throughout this blog. Each one has offered its own piece of the puzzle. I’m currently exploring brain repatterning, learning how to gently guide my nervous system toward safety, resilience, and connection.

If you’ve ever felt like your body isn’t responding to healing the way you hoped it would… if you’ve ever felt trapped in survival when what you really long for is peace, you are not alone. This space is for you, too. Together, we can begin to rediscover the parts of ourselves that were never truly lost, just waiting to feel safe enough to come alive again.
